Your AI coach, built into your sporting world — sensors that understand the athlete and the equipment.
Behind every great athlete is a great team.
Explore our Pro-Athlete Pathways, coach education, global tours and partnerships.
NOVA is a sports intelligence system from Next Athlete. One sensor understands the athlete. One understands the equipment. One sees the action. Together they turn real sporting moments into coaching you can act on.
Ultra-thin and worn on your shirt or your shorts. NOVA Z captures every move so you can train smarter.
Our AI sport equipment range — the sensor is built inside the bat, racket, stick or pad.
A small clip-on camera that captures the action from the athlete's point of view.
Three devices capture what actually happens in sport. Everything they record feeds one place — NOVA AI — which turns raw motion into a conversation about your performance.
NOVA Z is the ultra-thin sensor that goes where you go. Sew it into performance wear, stick it on with the adhesive pad, or slip it into a compression pocket — then wear it on the chest, upper back or sleeve of your shirt, or at the waistband or side of your shorts.
NOVA X is our AI sport equipment range. The sensor is fitted inside the equipment itself — a cricket or baseball bat handle, a tennis, padel or pickleball racket handle, a hockey shaft, or between the layers of a football shin pad.
NOVA Y is a small clip-on camera worn on the chest or the peak of a cap. It records the action from the athlete's own point of view, giving NOVA the visual context that sits alongside the numbers from Z and X.
Z, X and Y each see a different part of the same moment. Every device streams into NOVA AI, which works out what actually happened and explains it back to you in plain language.
NOVA AI is built to talk to you — ask how the session went, what changed between your first ten swings and your last ten, or what to work on before the next one. It combines the role of an assistant coach, who tells you what to do next, with a performance analyst, who tells you what the data actually shows. All your data, one ecosystem.
Z, X and Y record the real sporting action as it happens and stream it to your phone.
NOVA identifies what took place — the swing, the strike, the movement, the moment of impact.
The session becomes plain language: what was good, what slipped, where consistency broke down.
You get a next step — what to work on before the next session, and what to watch for.
NOVA Z is the ultra-thin movement sensor that goes where you go. Worn on your shirt or your shorts, it captures every move so you can train smarter and perform better.
Acceleration, deceleration, rotation, jumps and more.
AI-powered analysis helps you train and recover better.
From amateurs to pros. For every sport.
All your data. One ecosystem. Endless possibilities.
AI sport equipment.
NOVA X builds the intelligence into the kit you already play with. Internal fit, protected from impact, one shared platform across bat, racket, stick and pad sports — so the equipment itself understands the action.
Rather than a different gadget for every game, the same NOVA X platform moves between sports through different internal housings and sport-specific analytics. It lives inside the equipment — protected, balanced and completely out of the athlete's way.
Cricket and football are our first focus. The rest of the range is in concept development on the same platform.
Built into the handle. Reads bat speed, the shape of the swing and the moment of contact.
Sits between the shin pad layers. Reads the strike, the approach and how cleanly contact is made.
Inside the handle. Reads racket speed, swing path and the timing of each strike.
Inside the handle, tuned for the shorter, sharper swing patterns of padel.
Inside the handle. Reads compact strokes, contact timing and rally consistency.
Inside the shaft. Reads the hit, the drag and how the stick rotates through the action.
Inside the handle. Reads bat speed, swing plane and where in the swing contact happens.
Micro action camera. Built for movement.
Small, clip-on and worn on the chest or the peak of a cap — NOVA Y captures the action from the athlete's own point of view.
NOVA Y has no display and nothing to operate mid-session. It clips on, records, and gives NOVA a view of what the sensors felt — so a spike in the data has a picture attached to it.
We are looking for athletes, coaches, academies, clubs and partners to help test NOVA Z and NOVA X in real training environments. Register your interest and we will be in touch as places open.
